Job Title: Human Resources Business Partner
Locations: Victoria Island, Lagos
Job Overview
- The Human Resources Business Partner shall drive the end-to-end talent management efforts of the firm ranging across talent acquisition, talent development, talent engagement, performance
management, total rewards, succession planning and staff exit. He/she should be well skilled in managing staff across various locations in the country.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Formulate and implement the Human Resources strategy in line with the overall business strategy.
- Engage the business via stakeholder management in identifying resourcing needs, training needs, performance management planning/reviews, employee rewards management and engagement.
- Design and maintain the succession planning initiative of the firm by identifying potential leaders and deploying the necessary talent development program to equip such staff.
- Managed the end-to-end recruitment process to ensure the right talents are properly onboarded for a seamless integration and positive employee experience.
- Design a strategic talent development initiative (internal and external) that will continually promote Human Capacity Development.
- Provide an effective HR advisory service to employees and management in relation to absenteeism, health challenges, employee conducts and capability, grievance matters, and all other employee
relations matters.
- Prepare the end-to-end monthly staff payroll whilst considering the statutory and voluntary deductions.
- Design and implement employee engagement strategies that will increase staff motivation, improve positive work culture, employee experience and retention.
- Effectively drive the objective performance management and employee evaluation process of the firm and sensitize Line Managers and staff on the impact of a continuous appraisal feedback.
- Suggest new procedures and policies to continually improve efficiency of the HR department and the organization.
- Supervise team members in ensuring that the office is conducive for staff to work.
- Manage the staff exit process and ensure exited staff are properly off-boarded.
- Provide leadership to the HR officer/assistant working in the human resources/Admin department.
- Perform any other task as assigned by the Head, Human Resources.
Requirements
- B.sc/ HND from a reputable higher Institution.
- Minimum of 4 years relevant experience as a Human Resources professional (2 years’ experience in a Supervisory role is required).
- Professional Certification such as CIPM, PHRi, SPHRi, SHRM is an added advantage.
- Experience in the ISP and Telecommunication is an added advantage.
- Ability to develop positive employee experience programmes.
- Good understanding of HR Analytics.
- In-depth knowledge of the Nigeria labour law is required.
- Excellent communication skills (spoken and written).
